  • A wildcrafted and organic proprietary blend containing:

Vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin- Vitamin B12 is a vital vitamin used in detoxification and to make thyroid hormones. If it is low, as it is in many Americans, then the thyroid can suffer.

Kelp- Kelp is considered the world’s most potent source of naturally occurring iodine. Daily dose contains approximately 104 mcg of iodine.

Zinc Picolinate– Zinc is effective for many types of thyroid dysfunction. The T3 receptor site requites zinc to function so a deficiency may result in subclinical hypothyroidism (low thyroid) even though the labs look normal. It is also required for conversion from the thyroid hormone, T4 into T3.

Copper Picolinate–Taking zinc can deplete copper stores so if taking zinc chronically, it is recommended to add copper in as well. Copper alone is healthy for thyroid function.

L-Tyrosine- L-tyrosine is an amino acid that helps make thyroid hormones, In fact, L-tyrosine and iodine are both needed to synthesize the hormones.

Eleuthero- Eleuthero, also known as Siberian Ginseng, is an adrenal adaptogenic herb. It has been known to increase stamina and energy. It is great for chronic fatigue and low thyroid function

Ashwagandha- Ashwagandha is a Dr. Jess favorite. This root has been used in ancient cultures for centuries and is also an herbal adaptogen. It is wonderful at easing stress, thyroid conditions, and adrenal fatigue, which is important in balancing sex hormones like estrogen progesterone and testosterone.

Vitamin C as AMLA- Vitamin C helps support overall body health. A study published in the BMC Endocrine Disorders journal, found all study subjects with low thyroid functionwere also deficient in the antioxidants Selenium, Zinc, and Vitamin C.

Selenium- Selenium is the missing nutrient in many thyroid conditions. The cells of the thyroid generate hydrogen peroxide and then make thyroid hormones. Selenium protects the thyroid gland from the oxidative damage caused by these reactions. Without adequate selenium, high iodine levels lead to destruction of the thyroid gland cells. This is why it is necessary to have selenium in conjunction with iodine for autoimmune thyroid conditions.
